In 2012 we’re having dinner out the third Sunday of each month in addition to the Bean Good Café Coffee Club the first Sunday of each month.
Sunday, February 19 at 6:00 pm Monthly dinner club goes to Bukhara Indian Bistro! 15718 Wayzata Blvd. East, Minnetonka (On frontage road north of Hwy. 12 and west of 494) Before the British occupation of South Asia the predominant force that ruled a majority of the continent was the Mughal empire, which originated in Ferghana (modern day Uzbekistan). The cultural and religious capital of this empire lay in Bukhara due to the established silk trade routes from the Far East to the Mediterranean. This Indo-Islamic power had control over most of Asia and the city of Bukhara was the melting pot for all these cultures and their cuisines. Inside, you'll find a homey bar that looks as though it hasn't been touched in ages. Featuring food, on/off sales, pull tabs, bingo and live entertainment. Bean Good Café is located in a strip mall with condos on the upper levels and green awnings over the shop windows. The awning just reads "Coffee", but there is a sign in the window for Bean Good Café.
Come for coffee, tea, breakfast, brunch, lunch, Sebastian Joe’s ice cream (yum!) or just to schmooze. This monthly event has become a Chaverim favorite!
