Singles 21-35 / Thursday, July 10
On July 10, join Schmoozle at St. Paul favorite Cossetta's, (211 W. 7th Street, St. Paul) a bustling Italian eatery that's been serving home-style delicacies since 1911, at 6:30pm.  Parking is available on the side of the restaurant and on the street. Singles 30-45 / Monday, July 14
Join other singles for a kosher deli experience on Monday, July 14th at 6:30pm at Fishman’s Kosher Deli (4100 Minnetonka Blvd., St. Louis Park).  Their daily deli menu offers a wide variety of sandwiches from the standard corn beef on rye to the exotic eggplant Israeli sandwich.  RSVP to Matt at jsc@jewishsinglescollaborative.org by Sunday, July 13th, please. Singles 40-55 / Wednesday, July 2
On Wednesday, July 2nd, we’ll gather at the Lake Harriet Band Shell to hear some fine world jazz fusion by Batak. Cool treats will be available and maybe we’ll take a stroll around the lake afterwards. We’ll meet up at 7:15pm (the music begins at 7:30). Look for us near the back rows of the seating area. Music Bingo
Wednesday, June 25th, 8:30pm @ Chatterbox Pub (2229 E 35th St., Mpls)

Join other ‘late-nighters’ for an evening of music bingo at the Chatterbox. In music bingo, you’ll have to identify the song being played to win the square. Welcome to the Havdalah Project; A monthly Havdalah program that serves the social and spiritual needs of Jews who feel distanced from the currently available options. The project incorporates a cutting edge service encompassing both tradition and innovation in a way that is inviting for Jews from diverse backgrounds. After the ‘separation’ from Shabbat, we’ll have an opportunity to socialize under the stars. Come to the service or just join us afterwards, it's up to you.

Pride Fest 2008

Sunday, June 29th, 10am-6pm at Loring Park (Mpls)

The JSC is one of 30 organizations in the Jewish community coming together again to sponsor a booth organized by J-Pride at the Twin Cities Pride Festival. J-Pride is an organization for GLBTQ Jews and their allies in the Twin Cities and surrounding area which works to effect positive change in the Jewish Community through social activities, educational events, spiritual opportunities, and community outreach.
We’ll be there on Sunday, June 24th from 10:00AM to 6:00PM. The Pride Festival is one of the largest Pride events in the United States.

Volunteers are needed to staff the Jewish community booth and take part in the parade. Contact Betsy Sitkoff at bsitkoff@jfcsmpls.org or 952-546-0616 to volunteer at the booth or to march in the parade.



JSC Bike Club

Join other singles for a bike ride through the trails of Minneapolis. Riders of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. We’ll meet at the Lake Harriet Band Shell in front of the stage at Noon on Sunday, July 13th, at 10:00am on July 20th, and at Noon on Sunday, July 27th.

COMEDIAN JUDY GOLD at the ST. Paul JCC!

A list comedian JUDY GOLD comes to the Twin Cities for one night only. Judy is on the short list of funniest comedians of all time. Her one woman show, "Twenty Five Questions For A Jewish Mother" played on Broadway and toured the country. Judy's stand-up features her riffs and reflections on living with (and being) a Jewish mother. As an OUT spoken gay performer, Judy Gold is often seen as a leader in the Jewish GLBT movement. And she is FUNNY. You've GOT to check her out! This is a show for the adults. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on June 23rd at 9:00 am. This concert will sell out, so get your ticket early!
