ITZA MITZVAH! For All Ages! Monday, January 10 Provide and Serve Dinner at Our Saviour’s Shelter in Minneapolis
Most of the shelter residents are looking for work, or working fulltime at low wage jobs and cannot afford their own apartment or house.
We need:
3-4 more people to serve supper to about 50 people and clean up (about 6:15-8:30 pm)
Donations of food for supper or money to purchase food

Featuring the Minneapolis Jewish Film Festival! The annual Sampler has been a popular event for JSC members and the program this year is sure to please. Session choices include Yiddish art songs, Kabbalah, Subversive Women in the Story of Exodus, a bagel-making demonstration and much more. This year’s Sampler will culminate in a special session with a sneak preview of the Minneapolis Jewish Film Festival.

Come for coffee, tea, breakfast, brunch, lunch, Sebastian Joe’s ice cream (yum!) or just to schmooze. This monthly event has become a Chaverim favorite! GLBTQ Singles
The GLBTQ singles work with J-Pride in planning programs and events. J-Pride is committed to creating community among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer Jews, their allies, and the communities that surround them. J-Pride is an organization for GLBTQ Jews and their allies in the Twin Cities and surrounding area. We work to effect positive change in the Jewish Community through social activities, educational events, spiritual opportunities, and community outreach. Our events are open to people of all sexualities and religions.
