The Jewish Singles Collaborative is Now a Volunteer-Led Group
The Jewish Singles Collaborative (JSC) became an independent, volunteer-managed organization at the end of May 2009. The loss of a major funder, potential significant cuts from other organizations, as well as no new funding sources on the horizon led to this transition. As of May 31, the community program is no longer agency-affiliated nor has a paid staff person.
The Jewish Singles Collaborative is still be the touch point for Jewish singles within the Twin Cities. As a volunteer organization, the JSC will continue to collaborate with other Jewish organizations in the community, and will still seek out and embrace the support of Jewish organizations and local synagogues.
The JSC website, www.jewishsinglescollaborative.org, will remain and serve as the central location for contacts, programs, and more.
